Law Day 2013

The Brazoria County Bar Association was honored to have Justice Phil Johnson of the Texas Supreme Court speak at the Brazoria County 2013 Law Day Luncheon. 

Scholarships

The Brazoria County Bar Association awarded $1,000.00 scholarships to two Brazoria County High School seniors, DeLane Brown and Jimmy Frazier, based on an essay submission related to the 2013 Law Day theme.

DeLane Brown of Angleton High School plans to attend Baylor University with a major in Physics.

Jimmy Frazier of Angleton High School plans to attend Texas State University with a major in Engineering. Maria Frazier was present to accept the scholarship on her son’s behalf.

Justice Phil Johnson made the presentation during the Bar Association’s May 10th Law Day Luncheon.

The Brazoria County Bar Association awards scholarships annually related to essay submission. All Brazoria County High School seniors are eligible and are encouraged to apply.
