The training will cover the investigation and prosecution of strangulation crimes. Topics will include:
-Using a strangulation supplement on scene
-Introducing “roll call” videos that can be used as a training tool for Patrol (officers will gain free access to these videos).
-Officer safety when responding to domestic violence calls.
-Trial strategies for the prosecution, including Voir Dire, jury selection, and using expert witnesses.
